Default VW Lupo GTi

Does anyone on here know much about these at all?

I'm thinking of swapping my Audi TT 225 with one & although i've always liked the look of them, i'm not 100% sure what to do.

Any info from people with experience of them would be apreciated

My mum owned one for years, was a good little car, gearbox's are soft in both 5 speed and 6 speed cars. Not very fast but good fun. Would be an awesome car to mod.

My sister had a lupo Gti with the 6 speed box in. IMO they go really well. Rev round nicely and really stick to the road well once lowered. Very reliable car and easy to work on.
Hold there money really well, we sold it on after 2 years for the same price we bought it for.

I think they look awesome to be honest, if you don't need much space or aren't desperate to do 150mph everywhere then they're a great wee daily I think. Loads of space for driver and front passenger too from what I've seen.

Cheers,
Grant

Cheers for the info people

Yes i see they seem to hold their value well, i wanted around £2900 for my TT and he said he values his car around £3500 so it may be a good deal
