Play in your Cosworth Distributor Shaft? New Product comming soon!
Im just finishing off our new Distributor overhaul kits, be available on the webshop soon!
To rid of the play in the dizzy units which cause all manner of phase sensor issues.
New oil lite Bushing, O ring, and roll pin, plus full instructions of how to overhaul the unit.
Only takes about 20 mins to do. I think pretty much every dizzy i see has too much play in them!

You just need to time it up and remove the dizzy, then make sure the phase is aligned correctly when it all goes back together.
Will be posted out for under Ł20.00, price is not set yet.
When the bushing in the dizzy has to much play the phase gap changes with revs! and can flag all sorts of weird running issues, and even knock the phase sensor out

This should save some people a headache and probably a must for most cosworth owners imo

Anyone know where you can get the parts to refurb the cosworth distributor? I've emailed stu at MSD but no luck.
Cheers

Do you still use the dizzy or just the hall sensor? I am swapping to sensor on the cam and will remove the dizzy.

I'm going coil on plug mate but rather than fit the cam sensor on the cam cover I'm going to keep the phase sensor on the dizzy and remove the cap. Just want to freshing it up while it's all in bits.
