Default transit connect restoration and modifying

hi guys im pretty new to this forum so dont know that much about ford tuning, i currently have a corsa c 2 litre turbo so know my vauxhalls well enough,

ANYWAYS, the company i work for are replacing a couple of the vans 1 of them been driven by an engineer is imo wrecked its got a couple of dents and as its the high roof model connect its all rusty above the windscreen, the engine has done 206,000 and you need to have your foot flat down just to do 50mph, also the interior is pretty wrecked he's let his children play noughts and crosses on the dash with what seems to be a knife,

i used to use this van from when it was new 54 plate and he's had it since 2008 and tbh he hasnt even washed it in 2 years, i know this as i was the last person to wash it,

so my company have offered me the van for FREE the perks are it has a towbar but the rest needs restoring,

this is where i need your guys help,

with the engine what is the largest diesel engine that can be fitted in the connect bay (i think its the base 1.8 diesel atm) and what sort of costs are associated with it,

also how easy/hard is it to fit the focus rs engine and gearbox, again whats needed and associated costs,

same with the cosworth engine how easy/hard

one thing i would want as its going to be my winter vehicle as well as a tow vehicle is 4 wheel drive either with a petrol or diesel engine (diesel preferred)

next question what do you do about lowering both the front and the back end?

and the seats are god awful and uncomfortable, how do you mounts different seats, especially when the passenger seat is totally fixed and will only fold forward,

cheers in advance will check back in a couple of hours after ive picked the wife up from work
