I have bult a pinto engine with gsxr k8 throttle bodies 270 93mm pistons ported head...
Now I want use megasquirt ecu V3...
What is your opinion about that?
Is that good option ? I want use that because I want to make the program my own..Any tips? Any help to make the setup ?

When you say make the program your own, do you mean map it yourself, or do you actually mean modify the software itself?

IMHO there is no need to do the latter.

I use megaquirt on my corsa which has bike bodies on it and it works great.

Just make sure you get a well built one, there is a lot of cheap crap out there in the world of megasquirt that gives an awesome ecu a bad name.

 

IMO I would go for emerald, a much easier to use ecu/software combo with many more options and fantastic back up from emerald if you get stuck. Just a bit

 

What extra options does emerald have over megasquirt in your opinion? I would have said the opposite!
And as for better software you have clearly not mapped on both emerald and tuner studio, the megasquirt is SO far in front its not even in the same league anymore, its night and day better than the emerald from a software point of view, especially for an enthusiast who will typically be doing most if not all of their mapping live on the road.
