Thought they didnt do this?

Just noticed a couple of specs on mine

 

its a ford they all rust some were mate

 

What year is your Focus?

I have seen some bad 10 year old Fiestas, Puma & Ka's but not Focus.

 

Had a 2006 Focus a couple of years ago that started to rust on rear arches, got it into Ford and they sorted it.

Dumped the car shortly afterwards, was a pile of crap.

 

Its a 2000 reg, its mainly on the inner lips but its just started to spread onto the outer quarter, think im going to blast it all off with a grinder before it spreads, its a black car, so i reckon i can get away touching it in.

 

Most early focus's up here are rusting like fuck on the arches its an 11 year old ford what are you expecting lol

 

ive only ever seen rust on a focus where its been repairs before

ie rusty wings from being replaced without having the backs sealed, rear arches starting around a blob of filled that was dumped into a scuff
im suprised yours has it without something going on

my mums 03 mp3 has 2 bits of scabbed up paint but on either door, its a very clean car otherwise, weird that its there, not had skins on either

 

my 2000 model is rusting everywhere except underneath,leave it it'll be reet the outer and inner skin on my door have seperated,you can put your hand up from the bottom
all 4doors have rusted,both front wings and both back arches,she's a minter

 

Mate had a 04 plate focus zetec in his workshop today and the bottoms of doors are bubbling and rear arches starting to rust.

 

Yeh come to think of it my friends 54 reg TDCi sport had rotten passenger door bottom but i guess thats just from where the drain holes have gotten blocked !

Mines rusty as hell inside the turrets ( surface rust ) and a bit inside the boot if you lift the carpet back? But otherwise mint, doors are fine, wings, etc
