I've bought PR03 WAX for my van,do you think i could get away with a slight space between the 03 to make PRO 3 WAX or should i not bother?
Never had a plate like this before so im not sure how the police view these things.

 

Anything with regards to altering they are starting to get hot on a pal of mine had YE51 BUD spaced out it said YES 1 BUD so something silmilar to what you want to do with your plate,

I had the bold italic plate of my car for 5 years plus and was never given a ticket on it, but saying that its not driven all that much its a bit of a gamble you might get away with it for years or you might get some traffic piggy who tells you to take it off within a week

you will get less trouble if the dvla/police cameras can read the numberplate for a PNC check. as your not using miss representation of the plate you will be ok untill you get a jobsworth police man with not enough paper work to do, then you will get a warning/fine.

 

Anything is possible mate but as above its not legal and its luck of the drawer if the Plod will pull you. I've had different spacing on my merc since June and touchwood i've never had any probs!!

 

As above....i have mine spaced slightly differently and not had any bother.

Its if you use chavvy style lettering ect that you will tend to get a bollocking

 

i used to have mine spaced out as D 16V RS and never got pulled for years, even when they were behind me.

then i started to get pulled on them several times so stripped the car

Plus it should fail the mot when its clear to see its obviously incorrectly spaced.

Boils my piss when I mot a car and they have wanky plate spacing and the spare set in the boot and expect us to fit them so they can get a pass.

TBH, cops who actively chase down people with totally legible plates when there are real crimes in society need sacked.
Is it any wonder there is so much crime when cops are wasting their time pursuing shit like number plates.

 

The motorist is the easiest source of money for them they don't have to do a lot to nick people to generate money from the motorist, all they have to do is hide at the side of the road sucking down doughnuts with a speed gun or some shit and kerr ching, piggybanks in action

Depends on the where you live ive found.

Lived in a few counties, and today i sat in Sainsburys carpark munching my lunch when a unmarked skoda octavia pulled in the space 2 down from me, thought here we go, as my windows on the front maybe a little too darkly tinted, and i fitted some sidelights that were advertised white but more of a blue, and my front numberplate i took off because it looked better

They just looked at me, got out there car, 2 huge bobbies, walked in front of my car, both took one look at it, one turned to the other and said ' tidy example that ' and carried on walking into the supermarket

Nice plate, just see how it goes, at least yours is readable, some with dodgy fonts and illegal 'black' screw covers altering the letter, round our way are worse than that.

 

just do it on the front and leave the back legal.
