1.8 or 2.0??

Default 1.8 or 2.0??

I have a focus 1.8 zetec at the moment but got hold
Of a 2L what would be better,either to swap completely or just put 2L head on 1.8 bottom end? Jst cant make my mind up at all lol

There's no benefit to fitting the 2.0 head, in fact you'd lose power as all it would do is drop the compression ratio.

You could fit the whole engine but you'd need to use the 1.8's clutch, flywheel and injectors.

Surly there'd be some advantages by fittin 2L head iv heard of quite a few people whos done this, wouldn't there be any gains from the 2l head as it has better cams valves ect?

They have exactly the same cams fitted, you're getting mixed up with the old silvertop zetec which had different cams in the 1.8 and 2.0.
