Default Started after hibernation

I've just started the Esc Cos after it's hibernation and I THINK that I've got a problem running here.

When I went to start it the very first time and before startup I checked all fluids and the oil in there was at the full mark. I let the car warm up fully on tickover (about 45minutes). When I then started it the second time, the oil in there was only halfway the dipstick before startup. After shutting it down and letting her cool off for about 5hours, I checked the oil once again and now it's only at the very lowest of the dipstick.

It isn't putting out blue smoke at all, just some white smoke after initial startup which turns to greyish and then after fully warmed up, it clears totally emitting no smoke what so ever.

I'm kinda worried now.

If there is none under the car then I wouldn't worry about it cus as you have just turned it on it has drawn oil up into the engine, So when you check the stick it shows less than before because its still in the engine! Git it 20 mins after you turn it off for it to work back down.

As for the blue smoke I bet ya the first time you take it out for a proper drive it will clear up

Like I said, I checked it about 5hours after I turned it off and it ISN'T putting out any blue smoke at all. Just some white on initial startup.

There are a few drops on the floor but nothing major.

The 2nd time I started it was a few days after initial startup so all the oil should have gone back by then.

did you know the exact level before you put it to bed, it will fill the oil filter and oil galleries , after being stood a long time these may have drained back to the sump giving a falsely higher reading.

Dave,

Nopez m8, can't recollect what it was before I put it away but it's likely to be like you said. Never thought of that.
