Default checking if a car has a mot

is there anyway i can find out if the car ive just bought has a current mot?ive bought it from a salvage yard and it was none recorded police recovery car ive no logbook,previous mot,s ect ect just a receipt for the car.

not without log book serial number.
MOT station may be able to look up for you off Reg number not sure about that.

only possible with the log book as far as i know... try going onto the check website and then it tells you what you need i.e reg and number from logbook!

i can reprint an mot (to see if its indate) vir the reg if the car was moted at my staytion. if not then i need the log book number

dvla site lets you check, i think you need the chassis number and reg google mot checker, worth a try.

Not sure but can't you get that kind of info off DVLA website if you have reg??

just checked dvla site you need :

• VT20 test certificate
• VT30 refusal certificate

or the document reference number from
• V5C registration certificate

and i have nowt
