Default Remapping the Ford EEC-iv ECU............??

right then,
can a 2.0 twincam EEC IV be re-mapped for turbocharged application?

my Rouse saff origionaly had the superchips style push in extra bit to run the 380cc injectors, but when it lost the engine etc,i think they had that away too.

it was not a guessing DCU unit like the turbo technics twincam shyte but a propper marelli (cossie) 3 bar map sensor and a "chipped" ecu, as it should be.

can anyone write me a chip?

Andy Rouse is just not interested

i still have the ECU but no plug in chip.

cheers!
Sean

mate, if you seen the email i got after i emailed him after some info on the car you would be shocked, i lost so much respect for this bloke.

and he genuinley didnt know anything about the car, saying there was no such car, i sent him pictures of the 250-R and he was still adiment there was never one built, i took pics of the build tag and he explained it was a prototype pinto.......... shocking lack of interest mate.

i was shaking so much when i mailed him origionaly, checking emails every second i could, when i got the first reply i totaly lost interest

never mind, no info on the car and no work to be done by rouse, fuck it i will do it myself lol!!

Did the 250-R not use EEC, the same as the DOHC? So yes, you could, I would say. Also other FI Fords used EEC.
