Hello all , im trying to sort out what the strange noise is when im turning right, it only happens when im on really tight right hand bends pushing the car hard say when i go around a roundabout at speed, its like a pulsing i can feel thru the steering wheel? the abs and ayc lights are on but cant work out weather its got anything to do with the abs, ive checked the front ABS Reluctor Rings and there is no cracks in them , but was maybe thinking the front driveshaft ? any thoughts on this please

Have you checked the front diff bolts, located in the transfer box?

There known to snap or work loose, which will give you the symtoms when changing direction.

Also when did you last have your Ayc fluid changed?

 

thanks rob yes i did think of the diff bolts mate, but was thinking why only on right corners and not left ?

They can knock at any direction mate only thing Transfer box has to be dropped, another thing to check , top mounts, lower arm bushes, antiroll bar bushes and shocks. Nice Excuse to upgrade to Ralliart Items

What suspension set up are you using?

Done mine with a Fast road geometry set up, feels great.

 

Sounds like diff bolts. I'm sure my friends one only knocked in 1 direction.

 

Rob they can be done insitu a few lads on MLR have done it and say theres no need to take the whole transferbox out, iv got tein suspension all round

That's new to me, learn something new everyday.

Tein are notorious for knocking also, had to have mine rebuilt So worth checking.

have a look at the update on this turns out i have evo 5 driveshafts in a evo 6 , 13mm to big either side
