Default Transit Sport Info....

Im thinking of buying a Transit Sport but i dont really know anything about them. Im seeing what appear to be a few different models. Im not sure if its just what people call them or if they are different in any way. Ive seen Transit Sport, Transit Sportvan and Transit ST. Are these all the same?

Im looking at the ealry blue ones. All the early ones only blue? Apparently they only made 500 of these? Was it actually a limited run?

I know theres a new model now that seem to come in red, white, blue, black. Are these exactly the same van, or different to the ealry blue ones in any way at all?

Also, what about re-mapping them? Ive seen figures of 130 / 140 bhp as standard so not sure what they can be re-mapped too or if it causes any issues?

Any other info is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Maybe cos as its silver there are already loads that colour and will look like a tarted up transit unlike the sport vans which have generally been a different colour to the norm,be it blue, red, black etc

Not seen a silver one so can't say tbh, pics?

Cheers, thanks for the info.

So is is there a difference between the 'Sport' and 'ST', as im a bit confused with people calling them different things.

Are the early ones a limited edition and only available in blue?

What do the later 6 speed 140 models have over the earlier 5 speed 130 models? What else is different?

NORTH YORKS RS SPARES, please can you Pm me full details of your van and a price please. Cheers.

Ford didn't do an ST its just a sticker etc that owners have put on

Early blue ones were supposed to be a ltd run of 500 apparently

Later ones I imagine have a bit more poke and better mph,but I imagine with a remap this is not a problem,I'll find out soon...
