Changing cams on cvh?

Default Changing cams on cvh?

when changing my cams and followers for my uprated piper ones will i need to remove the head to fit them?

a std ford cam and a kent cvh31 can be replaced without removing the head. so i guess most will too, you can always try and if it doesnt fit you can still remove the head.

No! all cams exit from where the distributor is mounted, after removing all the lifters, pulley and cam shim that locks it in place behind the pulley on the left hand side.

valve stem oil seals and springs can also be changed with head on, with piston at TDC on whichever cylinder you're working on.

i thought it came out of dizzy end, im changing followers but leaving springs as i was told there shit compared to standard ones? its more the timing i need help with?

I thought a CVH only has 1 cam
