Default rs1800 4-2-1 manifold more problems!

so thought i'd fitted my ashley 4-2-1 manifold after already getting a new (shorter) starter motor and now i've hit another problem.

the manifold is pressed right up against the Crank-case ventilation system (i dont really know what this is) but it means the manifold does not sit quite right meaning the strut brace under the car wont go on. So i need to know is there any ways round this? is there a smaller crank-case ventilation system that will fit? and if so off of which car?

until i sort this my cars off the road so its pretty urgent, i cant drive the tractor everywhere! thanks alot, dan.

The strut brace if you can call it that is a standard fit part on RTS's and RS1800's etc, check ebay and you might find one.
