clutch time!!
hey all,
right my clutch on my series1 has started to slip, what and which one would people recomend and where from, car is only running bout 160bhp, but will be looking for bout 200bhp in the future,
gratful for any help

Helix also do a good clutch kit. Can't remember the code for it though.
Whatever you do DO NOT buy techinclutch!!

and get your flywheel skimmed, I've just had the flywheel for my replacement engine skimmed and now I need a diff flywheel

I run the AP2000-35 organic clutch kit which comes with the heavy duty pressure plate.
I agree, I would also get the flywheel skimmed for the sake of 20-30quid

sorry for the delayed response guys, been busy, but cheers for the comments, now wheres the best place to buy ap clutch from, and is it a case of taking the old one out and puting the new one in???, as i wont be doing the work myself, im just getting the parts.

I personally wouldnt touch an ebc clutch, black diamond, or techni-clutch go for what has been said m8 an ap organic cant go wrong imo

its your choice if you change clutch pedal i did and it feels alot better
,and i got mine from burtons

It seems m8 that alot of people do but have read that some people havent and its been fine so upto you matey
