looking for an escort cosworth ID for 909 shell im building

can anyone help me out ive built up a road going 909 shell and want an id for it does anyone know of anything maybe off a written of escort or something

I doubt it would be such a problem if you're building a rally car would it? Or is it a road car? Plenty of people have them so it can't be too bad?

they dont issue Q plates anymore tho.

Also, is it not classed as ringing, but putting an id from another car onto this?

Only if the original car had an ID in the first place. Effectively it'd be re-shelled, but the nice people at the DVLA should have the answers: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...icle/index.htm

still looking people will be classed as a re shell acording to dvla so NOT a ringer

IF the new shell has no numbers, then its legal to use it to "reshell" an existing car, but that car cannot have been scrapped already.

Q plates are still issued now, plenty of specialists wil cover them

ive got a 909 shell and its on a rs 2000 logbook and id, u will pay quite a bit for a cossie id, but if u do really want one id ring around some rs breakers see wot they got
