okay, so ive fitted a new cambelt on my fiesta rs1800 (1994) and the basterd is slack. according to ford, the tensioner will tighten it to the correct amount but it ust doesnt. anyone else had a problem with this? is there anything i should check? or shall i just tension it manually? thanks alot, danny-boy.

found out what the problem was, the "self tensioner" didnt ever self tension on the fiesta rs1800, my friend looked it up on the ford computer at his work and it turns out even with the tensioner you have to tighten it manually, so problem solved and the rs is up an running again!
