In January this year I bought an almost atandard S2 and I have a 2.0 zetec engine that I was going to put in an old XR2...

The temptation I have is to make this engine a Zetec Turbo and put it in the RS...

Would this make the standard esc RS less desirable or... more power = more fun?

 

depends how origonal and mint the car is to start with imo. I suppose it also depends on how good a conversion is carried out

Well I think the plan wil be to slowly and very cleanly build the zetec turbo, then only when it's absolutely ready carry out the highest standard of engine transplant I can.

Think I've got a lot more research to do, and a lot of money to spend.
