I have gsxr 750 throttle bodies, and an Omex loom for the 170 . Omex ecu to buy when I grit my teeth hard enough and sink a few beers to take the pain away

Can anyone recommend decent cams for the job ?

standard cams are good for 200bhp on tbs.
other than that piper do a exhaust cam and cat cams do both with various profiles.
but the cat cams are big money.

 

Get some 13mm plus cams and piston cut outs done and you will see some good numbers

If you go with Cat Cams they do a cam to remove the VVT

A friend of mine has seen 270bhp on an ST170 engine but it had high comp, headwork and a huge cams on TB's nasp
