hi lads just got my s2 back from my local garage its been on rolling road and he said he set it up i got print out and it woz 132 bhp it got a k@n on it and full stainless exhaust should it be more than that just dond seem to have any balls in it this is my first rs
If standard boost thats about right mate,in an ideal world it would be nice be little more but all depends on wear on engine as these car are old plus as said no 2 rolling roads are the same.Get boost turned up to 14 psi with chip, 31 actuator and will be 160bhp+ and will feel lot quicker. They are slow as standard.
132bhp is standard book figure when the car was new... So for it to have lost nothing, maybe a little which is replaced by the air filter and exhaust isn't too bad at all i wouldnt have thought! Shows everything must be in fairly good order?
So youre saying his RR is telling lies? The bloke has no reason to lie to me, i said to him set up the car and get as much power as poss within reason, so i can leather the shit out of it.
i'm not saying he was liying just that rolling roads aren't very accurate. brilliant for setting up and doing comparisons to see improvements but won't give you the exact bhp figure.
i forgot to ask him what psi he had set it at but it certainly isnt 7, its bleed valved up like, and boosts its cok off!

We thought you ment it was a standard engine running standard 7psi boost mate, as this is what the OP is running... Hence the comments! lol
Was a thread about these rollers on how accurate they are
Its called mikeanicks in congleton
i've heard good things about them. got a link to the thread?
don't take my comment in a bad way or personally mate theres always debate when it comes to rollers and it might be accurate for one car but not another. going off personal experiance rollers can be way off in some cases but so long as they are consistent one run to the next will be good for seeing improvements and setting up.
