Default zetec turbo from zvh? how easy?

currently got a FRST EFI 1800 zvh in my fiesta.
engine is a bit tired and smokey

I have a 1800 16v doing nothing from my old car (fiesta)

how hard and what needs to be done to do the swap?

im thinking spacerplate (not sure £??) - or copper gasket maybe reasonable alternative dependant on price.
focus RS plugs (these fit and be ok? what spec are they?)
modified FRST fuel rail to EFI inlet (not sure how hard this is?)
ERST T3 and manifold (how hard to fit to zetec?)

and then breather system etc? no idea what needs to be done there?
also flywheel with turbo clutch?

what else have we?

If you want to convert your 1.8 ZVH block back to 1800 16v, theres a few things youll need to do melv!.

Remove CVH pulleys, fit zetec ones. (Inc idler pulleys). Remove CVH waterpump and adapter plate, youll now have a hole (or two ) going from the water jacket to the outside of the block, so you will need to weld, or block this off somehow. Fit Zetec water pump. Remove head obviously, and from the inside of the block, the four blocked oil return galleys in the block need to be unblocked. Remove the CVH tensioner etc.....fit new 16v head and gasket etc..

Im sure im forgetting something else......but without an engine here to look at, thats what I recall from memory!

phil its more the other way round.

I suspect the rings are gone in the zvh and that the engine needs a rebuild.

i have what was a good working order 1800 16v thats now doing nothing... so thought... hey what the hell it cant be THAT hard or expensive to do.

the important thing here is cost.... not anything else... needs to be very cost effective and effectively use up parts I already have.

i.e. I could use the zvh sump as it is already modded for the oil return etc.

cam timing? on the zetec you dont need adjustable pulleys do you? so would it be worthwhile tweaking the timing a bit (they are currently 105 cams)

what boost would i need to run to get somewhere like 210bhp? is it poss?

oh CR aswell.... what will i need spacer wise? 81 bore isnt it? but whats current gasket thickness compressed?
