Default Some pics of my st170 on FRS wheels

started off as a standard car with all the optional extras apart from a sunroof. Then just added focus rs wheels, us spec rear lights and a few other little bits. lowered and maybe some mud flaps next, hope you like it.

you need to host the pics chap, use photobucket.com, create an account, upload the pics, then copy the IMG code onto the site, the pics will show then

Sounds crazy, because I love these wheels on the MK1 FRS... but I don't like them on your car to be honest, they look a bit too big, but maybe they'd be better if the car was a lot lower I dunno.

Looks to be a clean car though and the US rears make such a difference.

Cheers,
Grant

I think they look good on this car, probably better than the standard ST wheels but i agree with you about the lowering, would look better about 40mm lower IMO.

Thanks for the comments. Didn't want go too low because I use it everyday around London and the speed bumps will do my nut. Hope to get the springs fitted next week so will put pics up of it again then. But totally agree with all the comments and think it will look much better lowered.

Seems to suit the car quite nicely but lowering it on those wheels ESPECIALLY with the 225 width tyres fitted WILL cause a lot of scraping and tyre scrubbage!!!

It came with 225/40 but had to change them to 215/35 so no rubbing at all now. Only going to lower it 25mm so it just sits better and hopefully won't rub still.

The ST170 is 20mm lower than the normal cooking models already so be careful how much you lower it by.

Changing to 215 tyres will help avoid the probs rubbing under full lock but you've lost all rim protection now and you need to be careful as the backs are still liable to rub if you lower the car and have to drive over shitty roads.

Had RS wheels on my Focus ST170, 215 tyres and coilovers all way down. Didn't rub at all, but made the car handle like a piece of shit! Took them off the next day.
