Default cvh block breather baffle

Is it recommended to install and use the factory breather baffle in the bottom end?
Here is a picture of the device:

I am thinking I would like to delete this spring loaded baffle.

Opinions?

I would hate to have it fall out and get hit by a whirling crankshaft.

Cheers

Why do you use stud and nut kit on the mains instead of standard ford?

I've always used one. I've never ever heard of one falling out either.

it shouldn't fall out, can't see ford building an engine with a loose part inside it to be honest.

Thanks guys!

I was just looking for cvh expert opinions.
I will leave it alone then.

The stud kit is overkill I guess. But I have always used stud kits in all my performance engines. I don't really see the point in re-using 25 year old fasteners.
The studs do a better job of holding the bottom end together.
Factory bolts are certainly capable - I just like the added safety margin for the 88mm long stroke crank at 7000 rpm.

Cheers

I know where your coming from, mines on standard bolts and when data logging yesterday peak rpm was 7150rpm but I only really use to 6600 in the car. Hopefully mine will be ok
