Default gear linkage pic request

Hi all has anyone got any detailed pics of a dismantled gear linkage im wanting to refurb it ie have all the metal parts re-zinced my question is i am able to press the rubber bush out of the support rod leaving it bare but the bar with the u-j on it has a rivet pin through it with two nylon washers. Will these survive the zinc process? has anyone ever had any of the linkage parts re-zinced? any help would be great.

Hi buddy.

I dont have any dismantled pics but i do have pics of fully restored ones that i have done for my customers with new springs / blocks / bushes / gasket etc.
The black covers are painted with a special plastic paint called Inotec. Its used for dashboard & trim repairs.

Its best to press the supporting bar bush out but the nylon sleeve will be fine. Well it is in my solution anyway.

Pics below.

Hope this helps.
