Cracking job, the engine bay looks the nuts. Autosmart G101 added to shopping list. Which engine detailer did you use?

looks good mate but jetwashing any engine is risky as hell with the amount of electrical sensors they have, but especialy a ECOTEC (EVERY COMPONENT ON THAT ENGINES CRAP LOL) My advice would be to spray your engine bays with autoglym vynil and rubber care.......spray it allover, agitate with paintbrushes if need be, then wipe off with drying towels, if you require a really shiney finish then spray allover again n leave for half an hour before soaking excess of with a sponge

It's a risk I take mate... Have you ever thought about covering the components that suffer water when jet washing a engine bay... ?...it's a method a use alot and I've never had any dramas....

I've jetwashed loads of engine bays as I used to buy n sell fleet cars. The only trouble I had was with ecotecs as the water fills up where the spark plugs sit. I just used to remove the plugs and let the water go inside if they misfired after, worked ok for me

the company I work for had enviromental health and the waterboard in awhile back and they asked how we wash the trucks as the drains go straight into the reservoir and they have had two cases of contamination in the past few months,
my boss tried to cover it up but they see the huge drums of TFR in the corner of the yard.

basicly gave him a few words of advice and told him if they can proof he is washing then trucks on site we will be fined big time
