hello what co should it be on a s2?efi converted?is it 3.5%??

as mines on 11% on tick over

my guy set mine up to 4.5 as he reckons they should run a bit rich.
but for mot i believe they have to be about 3.5,so i motd it ,then had it turned up a bit

Once mine was converted, it was 0.3% at idle - very lean!!!
Get it setup as it running very rich at idle

Mines a touch under 3.5% at idle, heard 3% was about right though?

ofab,i done it my self,its got a fuel boost thing that im not sure how it works,

what makes you say its been to jamsport?

last time my car was touched by a tuner it was jano,but it was mfi at the time

When it was on MFi it wouldnt of left my workshop running more than 3.5% depending on what mods it had and power it was capable of.

Matt, in general most people who do the EFi conversion on their own ends up with issues similar to what you have with co readings off the scale and the system not working as it should.

This is mainly down to people not using the correct loom and not wiring it in to the car properly, using secondhand parts that dont work and cant be checked easy etc..

I would advise having it checked out before you damage anything.

When Jamsport set my mfi s2 up, they set the co to 9%!

Jano all the online guides say the ofac/ofab is plug and play with an EFi XR3i loom... Ive been through the wiring diagrams and there don't appear to be any differences on Ofac and three wires to swap on ofab

Mine has always been running at around 3.2% althugh im buggered if ever need it adjusting as the little screw on metering unit is seized solid any tips on how to free it off greatly appreciated? tried soaking in wd40 etc but no joy, more I try undo it more the flat head screw rounds off

It shud b an allen key not a flat head screw...
Id fill the little tube up with wd40 or something if not, maybe you can access it from underneath - ive never looked!

yeh it was on 3.5 at yours jano cos you showed me,the only second hand parts i got on it was loom and ecu,other then that its all new,just gota get the co right then its sorted,witch im hopin to do 2day

Yes I thought it should be an allen screw aswell actually oh well not to worry as so far its never needed to be adjusted in last 2 years of ownership
