Default Mondy V6 onto fiesta diesel box, will it fit?

I'm after putting a mondeo V6 into my fiesta, do you know if they will go onto a fiesta box, and if so do I need a 1.8 clutch??

Thanks

nope, different bellhousing bolt patterns. and no the 1.8 clutch is too small. you need to go v6 mtx75 gearbox

Not quite a v6 then!, you need 1.8 sump, flywheel and clutch, then it will work

I'd love to do that, I just can't weld. I can do everything else mechanically, its just welding I struggle with.

He had to make custom engine mounts and cut the panel in the front arch to clear the gearbox. I think he is going to turbo charge it this year aswell.

as said v6 mtx75 gearbox and then get custom shafts made.
if you get it to locate like my frs box on my zetec xr2 then i'll give you sizes of driveshafts to get made up if that helps at all.

The engine management will be the biggest challenge/expense.

Yeah, the plan was always to do the mechanicals and then give it somewhere to put a loom and management on

custom mounts and shafts are a bit beyond me i think. My car has a 2ltr already, but the engine is a duffer and missing 75% of its bits. Am planning on pulling it out at the weekend and finding another focus 2.0, a friend has already welded 2.0 mounts in for me so i guess i may as well go with that.
