Audi A3 S-Line SE 3 dr 2006/06 2.0 TFSI
Time has come to part with my Audi A3 after just over 2 years of ownership. It is an 06 plate registered in March 2006 at Glasgow Audi. It is the 197bhp 2.0 TFSI engined car(same as mk5 Golf GTI) coupled to a 6 speed maual transmission, FWD.
I bought it in late Feb 2009 from Ayr Audi where the first owner was getting a new A3, so I am only the second owner the first being a doctor who worked across the road from me!
It does have oustanding finance but I am in the process of paying it off and I will have the certificate to confirm this for the buyer.
It is HPI clear.
It has full Audi/VAG specialist service history.
Current mileage just over 95K miles
6 months Road tax
11 Months MOT, passed last 2 years with no problems.
Cambelt done at 75K miles and again recently due to an engine problem which has now been fully completed to a high standard, including head gasket and water pump. The garage missed an oil pick up pipe problem which ended up causing some of the inlet valves needing replaced.
I can manage on a regular basis 34mpg but have had 47mpg on a long run to Ford Fair last year. In normal hard driving you can expect to see 15-20mpg....
I have had it RR'd at Sitech Racing early last year and it had 203bhp and 210ft/lbs torque. No mods what so ever.
You can comfotably see 270-275bhp with a remap, downpipe, de-cat and full exhaust system along with a good CAIS.
It has Full black leather interior including S-Line steering wheel.
Dual Electronic Automatic Temerature control(climate control) Ice cold
Audi Concert CD player.
Electric one touch front windows.
Electric heated door mirrors.
Trip computer, with service indicator etc
ISOFIX child seat points on outer rear seats and front passenger seats.
ESP traction control - you can turn it off(good laugh!)
Driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags.
It has just had the bonnet resprayed along with the front grille in Phantom Black Pearl along with the door edges touched up.
It has 4 very good tyres, most recently the rears.
2 x Uniroyal Rainsport 2's on the front 225/40/18
2 x Goodyear Eagles on the rear 225/40/18
Recent rear disks and pads, maybe 10K miles ago.
Fronts will need doing before 100K miles but plenty still on there.
The car is immaculate inside and out except for a few marks on the front left side of the bumper, a very small ding in the rear NS guarter, very small and only noticeable when you are polishing/cleaning it. The 2.0T badge has a red insert in the "T" part as its the special edition model and a part of it is missing which really annoys me. I have tried to get one from Audi but they no longer stock them apparently, only the chrome one.
The alloys could do with a re-furb as they missus isn't very good at reversing near kerbs! Not the worst, I was going to get them redone anthracite soon.
The car is always kept very clean and waxed regularly.
LOOKING FOR £7995...glass's private sale price is a bit more but as I said there is a few niggles, especially the wheels.
Some pics...

I own one similar to this and i can honestly say they are a great car, had it nearly two years, price seems crackin imo, I wouldn't let mine go that cheap lol! I looked round for the misses the other week and for this money all you could get was 1.9 basic models.
Love the black grill surround, was tempted to do mine. Good luck with the sale but doubt you need it, looks very clean and is well priced.

I saw this on here last night and thought "I've never saw it kicking about before" then when I was working today I drove past it sitting in the runway of a house in Kilwinning
Weird!
Car looked really tidy mate. You keep it very shiny

Aye that was at the Girlfriends house! It is looking very shiny at the moment, can't remember the wax I used as the label has come off but it was good stuff anyway.
I should get rid of it no problem at this price.
