Default nissan 280z

Got a twin Carb version of a Nissan 280z (l28) engine to go into a Tina but every time I run it for more than 15 minutes the exhaust manifold (6 branch manifold ) glows white hot. Any ideas anyone?

New won't make any difference, if it really is running WHITE hot I'm surprised nothing melted yet!!
Check for retarded ignition timing(fuel continuing to burn in exhaust) and seriously weak mixture/air leak.
