Default Ford mondeo mk2 heater fan not working .

Hi all, i have got a mk2 ford mondeo 1.8td. The heater blower fan is not working but the green a/c light still comes on. I have checked the heater fan with a 12v power supply and it works perfect. I have noticed that the didgital clock also doesent work. I have checked all the fuses ect. And i am wondering if it is the ignition switch ? kind regard al.

Check the resistor, it's on the side of the heater box , these can burn out.
Remove glove box to access it.

I suspect the switch itself, so check first off there is power to it, as you say if the resistor pack is suspect then it would still work on position 4.

On Mondeos the wiring to the resistor gets hot and burns the connector, you can get a repair loom to fix it...

I should have been more specific...
