a mate of mine is lookin at buying a pug 106 quiksilver but it now has a 106 gti engine in there but on the log book its still a 1.4 ?
would they not notice this on a mot or hows there ways around it. people will say declare it but i no there loads of use out there that havent.
aint me thats buying it ...was askin for a friend before he went buyin summin that will get him in trouble an loose out...so best avoid buying or buy it and declare it all ?
Ask the seller why the engine change has not been noted on the log book. Then walk away because it's A, illegal and B, you are just asking to get your pants pulled down if they want proof of where the engine originated.
Give me the reg number I can help.
It pisses me off big time, that HONEST youngsters are being screwed by arseholes like your mate, with respect to insurance premiums, why not do the right thing, and be a responsible person and tell him to do one.
