my mate picked this little beauty up last week and I got to admit it one of the cleanest car's I have seen and got the power to match the looks as well

It used to belong to a lad on Focus STOC and he was local to this area I believe

naaa it was from Spennymoor but had a professional photoshoot there for a mag and my mate lives in Boldon so the car is up there now.

Never been a fan of the 5 door but being orange helps it I think. Looks very clean!

he was under strict orders from the Mrs that his next car had to have rear doors as he has got 2 young kids and she was sick of putting the kids in the back of his old Astra VXR

 

The fog light mentioned means instead of having a reverse white lense on left side and red fog on right the car has 2 white lenses (rhs comes from lhd Focus) then a red bulb fitted in order to still illuminate red;

nahhh still to pricey for my liking plus saving for me wedding this year so bought myself a Golf GTTDi PD150 to save some money for a while then maybe next year get something but only if theprice of petrol will come down

does anyone want to have a guess how long mt mates ST lasted untill it was on the back of a AA truck

yep took the kids to Cadburys world in Birmingham and broke down when he got there and cost him Ł600 to get towed home then another Ł200 for a new alternator, so it lasted a grdand total of 5 days in his ownership lol

I was driving it yesterday and its unreal how smooth and refine to drive even running the MOD X map running 330 bhp

 

thinking Im going to get one now lol

 

Haha, 50% less mpg than you're getting from the Golf mate... at Ł1.40 a litre that's pricey motoring!!

aye mate but only got my golf cos I bought my lass a C2 GT to use instead of my evo then sold the evo for the Golf cos i was sick of the C2 being too little (I'm 6ft3 and 20 stone lol) so getting shot of both then the saving on Insurance alone will pay for the extra petrol costs plus my lass only does 15 mile a day

i got the Golf cos I knew it will hold its value aswell

 

Do it! Went out for a blast last night with a mate, on the way home he said, why is it every time I look at your speedo it's on the other side of 100mph?

 

Ah right, if you're reducing from two cars to just the one then go for it... while a Golf GT TDi is good for what it is, compared to a proper hot hatch it doesn't quite cut it.

Any ideas on colour/spec of ST you're after??

dunno really mate would love exactly what my mate just got, 5 door st2 300+ BHP but dont want to spend more than 8.5k so depends what pops up and deffo want orange deffo dont want a st3 may compromise on the 5 door
