Default Ford Focus Ghia X?

I like to know if Ford produced a Ford Focus Ghia X version, modelyear 1998-2004?

And if so, did Ford also come with the Ghia X Estate version? And what kind of options did it have more as standard over the normal Ghia version?

Nope just a Ghia.
Pre Facelift had two different specs depending on the engine.
2.0's and SOME 1.8's had Rear leccy windows and a trip computer. Along with TC.
Most 1.8's, 1.6's and 1.8TDDi's were basically Zetecs with wooden trims

Post facelift all Ghias have Climate Control, rear leccy windows and a trip computer.

Ok, thanks! So they were only sold in Germany where I bought my Ghia X.

Strange as normally Fords sold in the UK have more options as standard than the cars from Europe.

The TDDi uses a Mechanical injector pump. Due to this I think it can't work out economy.
I think everything was an optional extra though

Well my Ghia X has got an electric sunroof, cruise control and bi-xenon headlights. These items together are very rare on a Focus mk1. It has every option you can think of except no heated seats. And that option you find even in the lesser basic models..

The TDDI quite happily runs a fuel computer.

On my Ghia TDDI it was plug and plug, all the wiring was there.

Really Now don't I feel like a tit
I know with the Pug's that use a Mechanical pump you can't fit a trip computer as it has no way or working out how much fuels been through it etc

Getting a TDDi Focus is looking more appealing every day. Shame about the crappy Lucas pumps though

They are not the old Lucas CAV rotodiesel pumps as used on the previous generation of Mondeos and Escorts. Saying that, I never ever had a problem when I had cars with that pump back in the day.

The Focus TDDI uses a Bosch VP pump which is fully electronically controlled. The said same pump that VAG used to use on their TDI's.

The fuel computer was plug and play on mine, all I needed to add was the stalk (indicator stalk with the button on the end to cycle through the fuel comp's functions) and an external temp sensor. I never bothered with the washer bottle sensor.

The only thing that is a bit squiffy on the TDDI is the range function. This is due to the TDDI having a 53 litre tank opposed to a 55 litre tank the petrols have. The MPG offset can be calibrated from the fuel comp and is very accurate once set up.

All I can conclude is that it was posted at 9.32pm and that you were probably very very drunk at the time.

And I tell you what, if your arsehole can reply to forum threads, get down to the circus. You'll make a fortune.

More seriously though and don't offense from my japey reply above;

Did yours come with the x4 leccy windows ?

Mine has got only the fronts and upgrading to rears means a swapping out the front loom and adding a rear loom.

I'm interested if you did this and how you got on?

Also got heated leathers as well on mine which are very nice indeed.
