Default Ford immobiliser keys

I have an old mondeo which ive lost the keys from. I understand that if i take the reg docs to ford i can get a new key cut, but how can i get it programmed for the immobiliser?

i cant get it moved cos there is no key, so what do i do with it??

I'd be interested to know this too. but from what I gathered without the red master key you have to start again with a new chip lock set. Costs about £100. I dunno what you have to replace on the car for it to accept the new chip though.

i think its a ford job, they supply and reprogram the key for about and im not sure on this £100-£200 depending on the type of key you have/need,some heve the central locking and boot opener on them like mine
