could anybody supply me some pics of where the head temp sensor is located on a 2WD? I am still have big drivabily issues with my XR/cossie and figured its time to look at the head temp sensor... but I can;t find it.

I keep hearing it is located at the back of the motor on the drivers (left side for me) but I dont see anything there...

 

it's directly under the water pipe from the heater matrix

 

I don;t see anything there though...

 

if your stood in front facing the car it is on the right hand rear of the head the opposite side to where the heater matrix pipes go into the bulkhead!

Not there ?, it needs one, this is the most influential sensor for CO, is the allot bit just blanked off then ?, maybe for some reason someone moved it's location, can't see any reason for the need, but you need to find it.
