Default Quick Cosworth loom question

I trust the best way to do the CPS and the MAP sensor is with screened cable, where is the best place to ground the shield? Would I be right saying you do one end only? Also, is there a pin on the map sensor that is also grounded via the mounting bracket? Is there anymore sensors that need/use shielded cable?
thanks
Steve

definatly use screened cable for the MAP and CPS, and you are correct about only grounding one end, otherwise you can end up with a potential difference across the shield which can be worse than not having a shield at all.
not sure on the MAP sensor ground, will check in a mo.
as for other sensors im not sure, phase sensor maybe?

my drawing of the map sensor shows one pin connected to ecu pin 15, one to pin 30, and the other to pin 11 (and possibly 17). i would say pin 11 would be the one connected to earth via the bracket as it is also the same pin used to earth the TPS, CTS, ATS, and diagnostic plug.

Use 2 core sheilded wire (not twisted pair)

The crank sensor shield should be connected to pin 3 (yes I know this is also a crank sensor input )

The phase sensor shield shoudl be connected to pin 5 (again a phase sensor input)

Do not connect the shields at the sensor ends.
