Nice that is rare a j plate is it still around .

 

I scrapped one about 9 year ago if that helps

 

I owned H199 avh black s2 rst way back in 2000.

 

Got offered to buy it back about a year or so ago... and the guy was restoring the car so it'll still be around, whether its finished or on the road at the moment is another question though.

It makes a '91 H-plate that bit rarer Paul, so you're doing your bit mate.

I don't think any of the colours are particularly rare on the S2 RS Turbo at any year, although there's not so many good cars about generally now so any good one is getting rarer.

Now that I've said that though is it my mind playing tricks or did they do a nimbus grey S2 in the early years of them?

Not really, it was probs the worse car I have ever owned and far from a nice example, Got good money breaking it tho.

 

Nah, for a few reasons... main one being that I've got too many awesome memories of that car when I owned it all those years ago and I'd run the risk of them being turned to shit when it breaks down all the time etc.

Plus, IF there was another S2 in my garage then I really want a mint 90-spec in White this time round.

Did it let you down then mate in the good all days then.

 

My mate killed a H plate S2 in black if thats any use to you,not his fault though.A car pulled out on him and it was wrote,lesson learned NO ! a few years after he killed his 500bhp Gloss black 2wd Sapp in Brum.Traction controll switched off and obviously not as good a driver as he thought lol !!.

 

Yes they did m8 and it was then replaced with mercury grey

 

decent s2,s are rare regardless of year and colour.
