Just wana get my saph back to how it should, and ive found a redtop but screw cap type in my loft, and just wondered if anybody has a earlier type with a bayonet cap they'd swap?

Pete - how early is it then? My 89 saff had the screw type from new and all the late rs 500 replacement engines too.

serious?!?! arh dont know why im bothering then, mine's a 90 saph 2wd, has a screw type on it at the mo so thought it had the wrong one, hence the change....
