i just got a blinding quote for the RS turbo,

With Norton Classic car insurance, fully comp on the RS, covered for all RS trackdays, declared the full cage and suspension, (not the engine until i decide on what route with that)

£229 thats the cheapest quote so far, so have taken it out, but may be worth giving them a ring cos the guy i spoke to Mark was a nice guy who seemed to understand track car cover and fast cars etc (we were chatting about my old cossie)

BOOKED IN TO SCC for the fri for a tune up so roll on

 

HIC charged me £25 extra for full cover for the day Its covered anyway for track day/rally use but under there terms and conditions it says.... "only covered when the insured car is the only one on track" which i somehow dought will be the case at the track day lol. Still £25 cant complain

Rods are finshed, just waiting for karl to put the pistons on and send them back to SCC

But judging how long this rebuild has taken so far who knows if its going to be ready

no fully comp road cover, and fuly comp cover on any RS owners club approved track day, I asked about the track cover and if i blow up my car on track on an RS Day its covered just like it would be on the road
