hi dose any one know if i can just SWOOP a 1.6 chv where i used to have a 1.3 hcs, the 1.6 will also have electronic ignition acd a carb can it be done?

what will i need to chenge?

The HCS engine is the crossflow lump I think, you could get an engine from a mk1 XR2 if you can find one and that should work.

If you do want a CVH then you will need the complete engine including the engine mounts and both inlet manifold with carb and the exhaust system.

The dizzy should be easy enough to wire in.

What car is it for?

 

nah ovh for cvh is straight swoop just need to know about the electronic ignition used on later HCS and CVH lumps
