Default If I claim on one policy, do I lose no claims on the other?

Wife had an accident this AM with one of the cars, on which I am the policyholder and she's a named driver.
Now, I also have two other cars, both with seperate policies, and all HAD full NCB, but am I right in thinking if i claim on one I lose the NCB on all of them, since they ask you the dreaded "Have you had any claims or convictions in the last 5 years?"......

Are your NCB protected ? If they are you will only loose the NCB you were due this year, in other words you will loose one years ncb.

I know this as my mate had a crash at the beginning of the year and he was a named driver on the policy held for the car and his stepdad only lost the NCB he was due to get this year.

Its hardly a big issue and shouldnt affect insurance prices for you when you renew your policy.

It's bullshit, you will only lose on the policy you are claiming against but when theyvask you about accidents you've got to tell them and that's when they fuck you over

The policy you have, as long as it is protected then you won't lose the ncb but if it isn't then you lose 2 years worth.
