well my st220 engine has been rebuilt and has been given back to me 2day, had new clutch fitted as well so £1900quid lighter but at least i got her back on the road and a 20,000mile warrenty

 

Great news mate,obviously not the bill side of it but good to get her back with trouble free motoring for a bit.

Did u get any joy with a refund?

Have to say I agree with you on that,thought he could have done a lot more to help with that engine.I've bought hundreds of second hand engines on the word of others and never had any problems because I always ask if they've heard it running or it turns over.he could easily have flashed a boosterpack over the starter to hear it turning,I dont care what anyone says.

As for the oil draining down in the workshop thing that's just fucking hilarious.we put a bottom end in an old Rs turbo of mine that had sat in the corner of my mates garage for quite literally years,been used as a bench,step,seat,you know the score!!we flushed it through with petrol etc,bolted the head up,squished some oil down the bores and fuck me what a SWEET Cvh,the car went round for years with that motor in and my mate even broke the car to use the engine in a big power build,cracking car!!!
