Default M12 x 1.5 alloy sensor boss needed (To go with Omex ECU)

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can get hold of an M12 x 1.5 alloy sensor boss?

I have a Peugeot 206 GTi fitted with Jenvey throttle bodies and an Omex ECU. I need a alloy boss to weld into my thermostat housing to fit the Omex coolant temp sensor. The sensor is fitted but at the moment the housing is just drilled and tapped. The material is only about 6mm thick so there isn't much for it to screw into.

I've trawled the internet but am struggling to find anything. Can anybody help?

Can you take the housing off, have it built up with weld and then re drill and tap?

That could be an option yes but if the bosses are commercially available it's easier to buy one then have it fitted.
