can i just change a non chipped ecu to a chipped ecu on my s2 with out causing any problems cheers

 

the car will need a set up at a tuner, if you swap it keep it of boost till its set up, otherwise you may kill the engine

 

at the moment its running about 8 psi will that be ok also do i have to change the black box to and do both ecus have to be the same code sorry for all the questions

 

all an rst turbo chipped ecu does is remove the boost limit all fueling setting will remain the same as above i wouldnt turn the boost up untill a tuner sets the metering unit up but theres no reason why you cant drive it as normal at the same boost that its running now,

as for the fuel ecu ( the black 1 ) some people say u can chip them but this will start a massive debate me perosnally ive only ever fitted chipped silver ecus and left the black one standard

there is different types of ecu u can tell by which pattern is on the front it will either be different colour squares or hearts and diamonds

none of these make any difference as they will all work but try and get one the same if u can
