URGENT help removing saph spolier

Default URGENT help removing saph spolier

as above my car went in for paint today,got a fone call and the bloke cant get my spolier off for painting and removing some rust around the fixing points ive been putting wd40 down for the last 2 weeks as he asked me to but the bolts are just so corroded cant do nothing so abit gutted any ideas

I had the same problem with mine. The only solution is to carefully drill them out. Then tie a piece of string to the new bolt and pull it through,after removing the rubber stops from inside the boot lid.

Absolute pig job fella, I had the same problem with my spoiler and bootlid, ended up getting a replacement boot lid and painted that instead, mine was rotten under the centre pillar of the spoiler and couldn't get the bolts out

I would drill the bolt heads off so you can lift the spoiler off, cut the remainder of the bolt off, grind the rest flat and push the remains through the hole (try to get the remains out using a magnet if you can), and then just fit a couple of new Rivnuts and fit them.

cheers lads ill let him know tommorow hopefully its not too late been waiting 2 montha for this to get done hes sorted my arches but spolier was my main thing it had all flaked!
