EFI inlet
Ive had a efi inlet manifold sitting around for ages and am now going to be using it on my efi conversion soon. the only thing is i was looking at it tonight and it doesnt have the bolt holes on the left hand side for the iscv so im guessing it wont work for the conversion? thanks
Mine doesn't either, think mine was off an xr3i... what management are you using? as some people don't bother fitting them, i did see some remote ISCV's a while ago.
Rob,
Rob,
thanks for the replies people was starting to think i needed to buy another inlet. does anyone know where these are available from and where they fit to seeing as they are remote? also is there anything else i need except for the remote iscv? cheers

or for my gotech mfi you have to block the holes up and bin the idle control as the ecu controls it.....
its a good management and a piece of piss to do mate.... might be worth not bothering with the fiesta stuff and putting a proper ecu on it

IMO Gotech MFI is a bodge, for the price of a coil pack and some EFI plug leads (£60 ish) why bother keeping the crappy dizzy??
Yeah you need a CPS of some sort but thats not hard... drill the block, Sierra CVH setup, trigger wheel, or even a Cam sensor will do.
with ofac... or ofab your limited to what you can do....
something like say gotech mini x is realy easy to fit speak to jamsport about a plug and play loom with no messing around and you just lose the metering unit and mod the fuel lines and you keep all you dizzy but fit the efi inlet with some greens and no idle control needed but then with the right engine your set for 250bhp+
