2wd exhaust manifold
I've just done mine, the turbo flange has studs in it, that go through the flange in the top part of the trousers, the bottom doesn't this secures to the manifold via 4 bolts 2 go underside 2 go top side and pass through the flange on the end of the trouser's base.

None i've seen have a stud in the turbo section? My manifold has no threads in that part? My turbo hasn't any threads in it either, so would i be OK using nuts and bolts?
I'm going by(bad) memory and a picture I found of some ones car on the rollers where it sure looks like studs in the turbo flange that go through the trousers top part.
Nuts and bolts will be fine, make your own K nuts and they won't need lock washers and won't come undone either.
K nuts can be made by squeezing the nuts in a vice to make the hole slightly oval, there's a knack to getting the squeeze right, but well worthwhile thing to do.
