ive got a mk4 escort rs turbo and recently come across a mondeo 4x4 im going to use my 1.6cvh i know the engine will fit on the box but am wondering if anyone else has done this and if so any pics or advise on what bits were used and what parts of the mondeo shell were used thanks.

 

not worthwhile really other than to be differant, its common opinion that the mondeo 4x4 set up cannot stand much abuse, if your cutting the floor out you may aswell cossie it

 

reason im thinking mondeo gear rather than cossie is because i dont wana spend loads i got the rsturbo cheap and the mondeo too,the only real money was for the engine rebuild,ive bin looking at spec's at work the mondeo is 136bhp standard obviously the 2 litre zetec produces more torque than the 1.6cvh turbo il be using and im only planning on 180-200bhp max

 

mondeo 4x4 is the same as rs2000 running gear iirc? if so a genuine 200bhp turbo will slaughter the drivetrain.
