Default Xr4i diff question

My mate has just blown the diff up on his xr4i,he wants to fit an LSD from a 2.9 xr4x4 but needs to know what drive shafts to use as the xr4i ones push into the diff and the others on the LSD bolt up to the flanges on the diff, will the flanges come out and then the xr4i shafts just push in or will he need to use the shafts and everything from the xr4x4

change the whole rear beam for one off the XR4x4 then it's easy to replace and also you get the disc brakes. simples

Exactly what I did, just remember that you will also need the rear shocks or to change the lower bushes.

If using 2wd shocks on 4wd arms simply use a 1/4" spacer each side of the bottom eye fixing, or 4wd shocks in 2wd arms cut 1/4" off each bottom eye tube part.
