NO ONE will speak to me i need to put a 2l blacktop into my xr3 silvertop i have ripped the blacktop out today i just need to no before i take of waterpump,tesioner.etc i need to no what parts i will have to trancefer from 1.8 silvertop to 2l blacktop it would,nt be so bad but the blacktop is at my oldmans scrappy my xr3 is at my shitty littil lock up and i have a donner car in my drive (escort) so its a bit hard just naw to put the engines side by side then work of that pleas some one who is ford mad like me could help

Instead of repeatedly putting the guy down for inadequate spelling, can't someone actually look past that for once and give the guy some advice.

For the OP, you'll need the flywheel, sump, pick-up pipe, water pump. I'm not sure if a silvertop pick-up pipe will fit on to a blacktop pump. You'll also have the belt tensioner fouling on the engine mount.

Its not like he was txt speaking or anything, he just clearly has a bit of bother typing good english, so fucking what that isnt a crime!
The only time people are fair game for spelling corrections IMHO is when they are doing something like stating how educated or clever they are etc.

Yeah he's right silvertop pump is completely different. Me and my mates have done zetec conversions on loads of motors now.
My mk2 cortina, fiestas, escorts, mk1 escorts, and were doing a sierra.
We have also put a black top zetec in a mk1 fiesta with silvertop managment and manifolds .
It all fits Mate. Message me of ya need help.

and thanx to all the lads willing to help i went on to a site for putting zetecs into ka,s that told me pritty mutch all i need,d to no av every thing but the altornator bracket done think the cvh will do .As the water pump stick out mutch further thanx eny way lads apart from the prix on this site LOSERS
